Hong Kong is a big island,so there is a big part for boat racing missions. The city is also very dense and heavily crowded (which makes free running sequences come to life). There are many ways to spend time in Hong Kong. Some activities include shopping, buying safehouses, visiting gambling dens, watching cock fights, going to massage parlours and doing karaoke

Hong Kong Island is divided into four neighbourhoods:

Trivia

  • United Front Games once wanted to add all the boroughs into the game, but it was deemed impossible.
  • Despite Hong Kong Island being the setting, there are no real life cities, (such as Kowloon) towns, housing estates, villages in New Territories (in chinese:新界), the airport on Chek Lap Kok, or islands surrounding the Hong Kong region. Although there are a few areas that were inspired by some towns, cities, and regions in Hong Kong, and a few districts were named after real-life neighbourhoods (For example: Ap Lei Chau, it is named Aberdeen Island in the game).
