"Tuner car, at home going flat out, sideways, on a highway ramp".
―In game description

Design[]

The Drifter GT has visual elements resembling the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and the Toyota Soarer (roof from the mid-80s Soarer and body from late 90s Soarer), despite the fact that it's shorter than the real-life Toyota Soarer. It has a turbocharged engine, typical in Japanese tuners and also Toyota Soarer, which has a 2.5L inline-six turbo engine in it's option list.

Performance[]

As it's name suggests, this car is a good choice for drifting and/or dodging corners, hence the fact that both the Nissan Skyline and Toyota Soarer are popularly converted into drift racing cars in Japan.

Locations[]

  • A green and white one may be found down the road from the underpass used in Chain of Evidence.
  • The Drifter GT may be found at various street racing meets with different paintjobs and decals.
  • Can be purchased from Tran for $210,000.

Variants[]

  • Ace owned a unique blue and white Drifter-GT with six-spoke rims and an ace of spades on the Hood and Trunk.

Trivia[]

  • The default radio station of the Drifter GT is Real FM.
  • It's in-game description, "at home going flat out" is a nod that both the Nissan Skyline and Toyota Soarer are used for highway patrol vehicles in Japan and also that they're both GT cars, intended to go at high speed on highways).
